Conservation
and Preservations Audits for Documentation Centers,
Institutions, and Libraries
This
will include the observation of the current status in all
aspects of the object suggestion of remedial measures both
immediate and long term for the preservation of the
collection.

Application of Preventive Maintenance strategies and running of
preventive maintenance program
Applying and running the preventive maintenance program will
detect the various defects in the collection, and help in
analyzing the core problems in the collection.

Consultancy
on Document and Library Material Conservation
Suggestion
of ways for treatment of single objects or multiple objects in
the collection, as to storage, treatments, and after treatment
upkeep.

Examination and documentation
Examination
and testing of various types would be carried out and
documented before the start of the conservation treatment on
the objects. a report would be made in which the probable
line of treatment would be suggested

Vacuum
Fumigation for Fungus and Insect , Mildew, control
The
use of various fumigation techniques would be implemented in the
control of fungus insects mildew etc either in the fumigation
chamber or on site of the collection

Stain
Removal and Dry Cleaning
Dry cleaning of
the object would be carried by the use of various techniques for
removing the dust dirt and stains present on the paper object.
solvents and solutions ,or a mixture of them would be used to
soften the stains present on the paper objects

Mending
of deterioted documents
Repairs
would be carried on in the form of removal of folds, rebuilding
of corners ,reinforcement of the stitching and covers, by the
use of different techniques.

De-Acidification of Paper
The
de acidification process is carried out by the use of aqueous,
non aqueous, or gaseous techniques for the removal of acid
present in the paper, and tabulation of the same.

Repairs
and Restoration of broken spines Covers, and Corners
reinforcement and
repairs would be carried of the covers and spines of the books
by use of materials in order to stabilize the paper objects
|

Tissue Lamination of weakened and
Deterioration paper
The
use of lens tissue would be made use of in the process along
with modified and paste made from acid free materials. the paper
objects would be sandwiched in between two sheets of the tissue
by the application of the paste.

Binding
would be carried out by stitching of all the loose sheets by
hand using threads and then put in covers
